<p>PURPOSE:To form a fold after carrying a form exactly, and to execute efficiently saddle stitching bookbinding by forming the fold so as to be orthogonal to the carrying direction of the form, in the center part of the form. CONSTITUTION:A form folding part 45 is provided on the downstream of a fixing part, and a missing periphery roller 49 is placed so as to be joinable in a carrying roller 47. Also, sponge rollers 51, 51, a form detecting sensor 53, stopper 54 which can move forward and backward freely, etc. are provided on a path 50. A form which has passed through the fixing part goes into the folding part 45, abuts on the stopper 54 and stops temporarily; but in that case, the form starts to bend in the direction of a joint part at the end of the path 50 by a feed action of the rollers 47, 48. In this case, the sensor 53 detects the form and brings the missing periphery roller 49 to one rotation, a fold is formed by the rollers 47, 49, and the form is fed to a stitching part. Therefore, the form is carried exactly, the fold is formed, and saddle stitching bookbinding can be executed easily.</p> |
