<p>PURPOSE:To attain the display of a desired KANJI (Chinese character) with a small number of key touches by deleting an input KANA (Japanese syllabary) string up to a position of a correct word punctuation and performing the KANA/KANJI conversion to both the remaining input KANA string and the deleted KANA train. CONSTITUTION:An input KANA string dividing part 8 divides an input KANA train into (n) parts, and these divided KANA strings are sent to a divided input KANA train temporary memory part 9. A divided input KANA train control part 10 contains an internal register NK that increases th KANA strings by one when the retrieval of all words is through with an input KANA string stored in the part 9. The KANJI description stored in a word information temporary memory part 6 is displayed to a display part 7 when the maximum value of the divided input KANA string numbers stored in the part 9 is smaller than the value of the register NK. While a word retrieving part 4 retrieves words to the input KANA string which is not through yet with the words stored in the part 9 in case the value of the NK is smaller than the maximum value of said KANA series number.</p> |
