PURPOSE:To reduce cost by simplifying a structure, by providing electrodes to adjacent sides of the square photoelectric converter arranged in a dark box with a pinhole and detecting the voltage thereof to detect the position where incident light is impinged to the photoelectric converter. CONSTITUTION:A pinhole 2 is provided to the top plate of a dark box 10 having a square photoelectric converter 3 arranged therein and electrodes 4, 5 are provided to adjacent sides of the converter 3 to be connected to lead wires 6, 7. Photoelectromotive forces generated at points L1', L2', where incident light from the pinhole 2 is impinged, are detected by the electrodes 4, 5 and the positions of the points L1', L2' in X- and Y-directions are calculated from the detection outputs. |
