PURPOSE:To enable easy change in sepcifications of a transmission gear of a travelling vehicle to speed-change gear by providing a holding member which can hold a slide coupling as to put both an input-side shaft and a clutch boss into the joined state with counter gear and a transmission gear dismounted. CONSTITUTION:A holding member 27 which can hold a slide coupling 24 as to put both an input-side shaft 7 and a clutch boss 23 into the joined state with a counter gear 16 and a speed change gear 21 dismounted is provided in a transmission mechanism having both a front transmission case 1 and a rear transmission case 2. The relative change between the specifications of a vehicle having the transmission gear mechanism and the specifications of said gear needing no transmission gear mechanism can be easily performed by the action of the moving restricting device of the holding member 27.
