PURPOSE:To improve power generation efficiency by applying a magnetic field in the preset direction and accelerating electrochemical reaction. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field B is applied to an element battery laminate body 2 through a magnet 8 in the direction perpendicular to the lamination of the element battery and in the right direction for the advance direction of hydrogen gas as fuel. As a result, electromagnetic force is actuated on hydrogen ion +H that advances at preset speed and the electrochemical reaction between an ion +H and oxygen is accelerated. As a result, the power generation efficiency of a fuel cell is improved. |
