PURPOSE:To attain to enhance time measuring accuracy and usability, by performing the display of a unit having a cycle longer than sec in an analogue system and performing the display of a unit shorter than a sec in a digital system. CONSTITUTION:To a stopwatch having a sec hand, a min hand, a 1/100sec alarm display window, a lap switch 4, a stop switch 5 and a reset switch 6, an electronic circuit, which consists of an oscillator 7, a wave form shaping device 8, min hand and sec hand driving stepping motors 9, 10, flip-flops 12, 13, min and sec counters 20, 22, min and sec comparators 23, 24 and a 1/100sec counter 25, is provided. The sec hand and the min hand are respectively driven by the stepping motors 9, 10 independently controlled by the electronic circuit and the display of sec and min is performed in an analogue system while the display of a 1/100sec unit is performed in a digital system by rhe display window. By this mechanism, accuracy is made stable and coincided with the sensibility of a person while power consumption can be conserved. |
