PURPOSE:To utilize a low head so effectively and thereby make a large output securable, by installing each conical guide plate guiding a stream of water outward inside a cylindrical casing in a multistage manner as well as installing each screw runner vane projectingly from a rotary shaft at intervals of each of these conical guide plates. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical casing 1 is set up in a vertical type, and a lot of bearing plates 4, boring a hole through the center of a disc 2 and installing a bearing at the lower surface, are set up in the center of the inside of the casing, and supported by radial arm rods 5. In addition, each of conical guide plates 6, guiding a stream of water outward each perihperal edge of these bearing plates 4, is hung down, while each conical guide plate 6' is installed in an intermediate position between each bearing plate 4 and an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical casing 1 likewise. And, a main shaft 7 is inserted through into these bearing plates 4 and supported on bearings 8 and 8' installed in top and bottom of the cylindrical casing 1, while several screw runner vanes 9 are projectingly installed from the main shaft 7 at intervals of each bearing plate 4, thus a hydraulic turbine 10 is constituted. |
