摘要 FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to engine building and can be used in compressors as well as in whatever units converting reciprocation into rotation. The proposed mechanism converting the piston reciprocation into the crankshaft rotation incorporates a cylinder with opposed pistons jointed by con-rods furnished with racks sliding over the cylinder generating line. The aforesaid racks surfaces feature the grooves with radius of the toothed sector outer circumference and centers located on the cylinder vertical axis and spaced apart by the piston stroke. The aforesaid toothed sector made on the semi-circle feature the length equal to the piston stroke. The piston side coming out of the engagement with the aforesaid racks is cut by the thickness equal to the tooth height. Note that the toothed sector is fitted on the drive shaft, between the racks, and periodically gets into mesh with them. The cylinder axis and the toothed sector axis of rotation are shifted in the same direction by the off-center distance from the said sector geometrical axis. The length of the sector semi-circle and developed surface of the rack toothed par are equal to provided for a preset piston stroke, while the rack profile satisfy the condition where OA = R3 is the distance from the toothed sector axis of rotation to the point it is in mesh with the rack, m, epsilon is the eccentricity, R is the toothed sector semi-circle radius, m; alpha is the angle of the toothed sector turn, degrees. Note that the racks have the grooves made thereon with a large radius of engagement, the grooves centers being located on the sector axis of rotation and spaced apart along the vertical by the piston stroke. The axes of rotation of the toothed sectors in question are misaligned and shifted to the cylinder axis opposite sides, the centers eccentricity being shifted from the sectors axes of geometry in one direction. ^ EFFECT: reduced forces of inertia originating at sharp variation of piston stroke direction and engine output increase. ^ 2 cl, 5 dwg
