PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of measurement, by installing air communication passage delivering compressed air from a compressed air supplying machine set outside a water discharge pipe to small holes perforated at the bottom of the water discharge pipe and detector detecting back-pressure of the compressed air in the said passage. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air introduced into the upper part of a gap 5 through air pump 10, intermediate pipe 11, hose 6 is allowed to blow out through holes 3 of a water discharge pipe 2 through the gap 5 and pressures of the intermediate pipe 11 proportional to a water level in the pipe 2 and of the hose 6 are detected by a pressure detector 13 through the pipe 12. An electric power output of the detector 13 is connected to a pen-recorder 14 for continuous recording, and results of calculations, graphs, tables, etc. are displayed or stored in an output apparatus 18 through digitalizer 15, microcomputer 16, large computer 17. |
