<p>PURPOSE:To enable to safely travel a train by allowing both normal and emergency brake systems to operate from a driver's cab at the other end even when controlling to operate from a driver's cab at one end. CONSTITUTION:When a front and rear switching unit 2 of a TC2 railcar is shifted to ''front'' position, and a switching unit 3 is shifted to ''normal'' position in case of controlling an operation in a TC2 railcar, EB1,EB2 lines form a loop in the TC1 railcar to form a normally-excited emergency circuit, and a brake command by a controller 1 of a TC2 railcar can be achieved. When the unit 3 of the TC1 railcar is shifted to ''special'' position and a brake controller 1 is switched to the position except ''emergency'' and ''extracting'' positions at this time, the contact MS3 of the unit 3 is opened, and a contact of a relay EBR is instead connected with the emergency circuit. Thus, the command of the emergency brake can be performed by the operation of the controller 1.</p> |
