PURPOSE:To execute copying on double faces in short time by controlling a copying machine having a mechanism for exchanging automatically originals and a double-face copying mechanism for copying said originals on double faces of paper by a simple control method. CONSTITUTION:A CPU27 connects an original feed clutch 30 for specified time to deliver the original 2 by an original feed roll 3 to an original circulating path 5 and connects a paper feed clutch 31 for specified time to deliver the paper 8 by a paper feed roll 9 to a paper conveying path 11. The CPU27 counts the original 2 by a position detecting sensor 21 at every detection of said original. The CPU opens a registration gate 22 to deliver the paper 8 to a photosensitive drum 12 when said count value is even, namely, when the original 2 detected by the sensor 21 is delivered at the even-numbered sequence from an original imposing plate 1. The front side of said paper 8 is then copied and further the paper 8 copied on the front side is contained into a tray 17 for double- face copying. The paper is not subjected to copying when the detected original is delivered at the odd-numbered sequence. |
