<p>PURPOSE:To prevent thoroughly the disengagement of a supporting arm and a float by mounting the supporting arm to an expanded compsn. subjected to preliminary crosslinking expansion molding and subjecting the compsn. to simultaneously integral expansion molding at the temp. below the temp. at which the resin supporting arm causes a thermal deformation. CONSTITUTION:One end of a preliminarily crosslinking expansion molded part 2 is inserted to the fitting part 4 of the preliminarily molded synthetic resin supporting arm 1 and thereafter the assembly is loaded into a metallic mold for a product and is subjected to simultaneous integral expansion molding by heating (at the temp. below the temp. at which the arm 1 causes a thermal deformation, for example, 170 deg.C and for about 30min) under the pressurization (about the pressure under which the metallic mold does not open). The steam of the pressurizing press is thereafter changed over to cooling water to cool the molded part for about 10min. When the pressurizing press and the metallic mold are opened upon solidification of the product, the float product molded integrally with the float 6 having the closed cell structure and the arm 1 is obtd. The disengagement of the supporting arm and the float is thus thoroughly prevented.</p> |
