<p>PURPOSE:To make the captioned mechanism compact in the same device employed for a fully-automatic device to stick a cover of for example a book, by engaging a gear provided on a slider in a linear reciprocating movement with a rack and thus rotating a book supporter by rotating a gear shaft with said reciprocating movement. CONSTITUTION:A book B yielded by sticking a cover 1b on internal sheets 2b of the book is transferred from a self-close table 20 onto a supporter 140. With a slider 110 moved right by a reciprocating means 120, a gear 130 mounted thereon is engaged with a rack 135 and thereby a pivot shaft is rotated by an angle in response to a fan-shaped angle of the gear 130. Accordingly, the supporter 140 is rotated by the same angle and moved right to invert the book B. With such arrangement, the mechanism can be made compact.</p> |
