PURPOSE:To provide a color image forming method which can form a color image on plain paper requiring no special processing by one time of exposure and developing and by which the high image quality is obtd. in a simple manner at a higher speed. CONSTITUTION:The color image forming method consists of: (a) the electriying stage in which an electrophotographic sensitive body constituted by providing a panchromatically and spectrally sensitized photoconductive layer 32 on a conductive base 31 is uniformly electrified by an electrifier 33; (b) the toner spraying stage in which the blue 30B, green 30G, red 30R toner particles colored for color sepn. are uniformly sprayed by a toner sprayer 34 to the surface of the electrified electrophotographic sensitive body; (c) the exposing stage in which a color light image is irradiated via the toner particle layer from a color original 35; (d) the developing stage in which the toner particles are removed from the photosensitive region (non-image part) with the electrified dielectric body or the like as a remover 36; (e) the transfer stage in which the toner image is transferred to image receiving paper 37 and (f) the fixing stage in which the toner image is melt-fixed to the image receiving paper by a heating roller 38, etc. and at the same time the coloring materials for color sepn. are made colorless and color conversion is effected by bringing a diazo compd. and azo coupler into reaction so as to form complementary colors. |
