PURPOSE:To provide a coating material composed of a specific ester, a monomer containing a quaternary ammonium salt and a radical polymerizable monomer, and forming a coating film exhibiting antistatic property and slippery for a long period immediately after the application to a plastic material. CONSTITUTION:The objective coating material contains the components of formula I, formula II and formula III (R<1> is H or CH3; R<2> is >=12C long-chain alkyl; R<3> is alkyl containing quaternary ammonium salt; X is H, hydroxyl-containing alkyl, carboxyl-containing alkyl, epoxy-containing alkyl, aziridinyl-containing alkyl, amino-containing alkyl, isocyanate-containing alkyl, alkyl containing radically polymerizable unsaturated group, or sulfone-containing alkyl; lnot equal to 0; mnot equal to 0; nnot equal to 0). The compound of formula I is preferably stearyl acrylate, etc., and the compound of formula II is preferably the one containing quaternary ammonium salt derived from allyl chloride, etc.
