Mfr. of a sun visor with mirror, comprising a flat casing with sides of flexible, hot-weldable, plastics, and a yieldable packing in the casing, is claimed. The casing has a window behind which the mirror is mounted. The mirror is inside an envelope of hot-weldable resin, having superposed edges that are welded together with those of the window of the casing. The mirror is placed into the envelope, with interposition of a small piece of paper to separate the top surface of the mirror from the front of the envelope at least within the welding zone. Welding is effected in presence of this piece of paper. The mirror may be made e.g. of PMMA. |
