PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure of the engine as well as the adverse effect of a brake and to secure safety by a method wherein misfirings are caused in an ignition plug and an alarm is generated when the shortage of the amount of liquid such as engine oil, cooling water, brake oil or the like is detected. CONSTITUTION:When the engine oil 2 is short and the detecting contact of a liquid amount sensor 1 is put ON, the gate circuit of a thyristor SCR in a liquid amount shortage detecting circuit B is closed, a main transistor TrQ1 is put ON, the gate of the thyristor SCR is conducted since an electric current is flowed therethrough through the detecting contact of the sensor 1 and a resistor 7 in case a negative voltage is induced in the primary side of an ignition coil IGC, the primary side of the coil IGC is short-circuited, the miss firing is caused in the ignition plug G and the engine is stopped forcibly. Further, the alarm circuit of a luminous diode LED is closed due to the putting ON of the sensor 1, the current is flowed due to the positive voltage induced in the primary side of the ignition coil IGC, a luminous diode LED is put ON, it is lightened intermittently in synchronizing with the revolution of the engine until the engine is stopped to alarm the shortage of the liquid amount, therefore, an operation, having the danger of accident upon starting or the like, may be prevented. |
