PURPOSE:To permit the correction of the error in the displayed traveling locus of a vehicle by disposing a transparent substrate having a matrix-shaped touch switch group on the front surface of the display part and touching the correct position on a map. CONSTITUTION:The present position of the vehicle is momentarily detected by a direction detector 2 and a distance detector 4 and the traveling locus is displayed on a CRT22 when the vehicle starts traveling. The detector 2 fails to detect exactly the direction when there is the magnetization of the vehicle or a ferromagnetic field on the outside. In such a case, the output signal from the counter 38 of an oscillator 40 rises to H and an alarm 24 generates an alarming sound; at the same time, AND gates 34, 36 open. The operator touches the present position of the vehicle on the map of the CRT22 in this stage, then the touch switch in said position turns on and the position data is inputted from a position input part 26 via the gates 34, 36 to the reset inputs of a display data storage circuit 12 and the X-direction counter 8 and Y-direction counter 10 of an arithmetic circiut 6. The calculated content of the circuit 6 is thus cleared and the storage content of the circuit 12 is changed so that the correct traveling locus is displayed. |
