PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent heat-resistance and flame- retardance, by compounding a chlorine-containing resin to a copolymer composed of methacrylic acid, and styrene, methacrylic acid ester, acrylonitrile, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin can be produced by compounding (A) 30- 80(wt)%, preferably 40-70% copolymer having a specific viscosity of 0.01-0.7, preferably 0.03-0.5 and prepared by polymerizing (i) 5-40pts.(wt.), preferably 10-30pts. of methacrylic acid, (ii) 95-60pts., preferably 90-70pts. of one or more monomers selected from styrene (e.g. t-butylstyrene), methacrylic acid ester and acrylonitrile, and (iii) 0-20pts. of a monomer copolymerizable therewith (e.g. maleic anhydride) by bulk-polymerization followed by suspension polymerization, with (B) 20-70%, preferably 30-60% polyvinyl chloride resin, vinyl chloride copolymer, or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin.
