CRYOSTAT

A cryostat for a total loss measuring device of a superconductor is provided to prevent bubbles of a refrigerant from being formed around a sample by separating spaces for an outer magnet and the sample. In a cryostat for containing a device for measuring the total loss of a superconductor, a first container(10) has a vacuum layer(14) having outer and inner wall parts(10a,10b) and keeps airtightness by a first container plunger(24). A second container(12) is composed of a vacuum layer(16) having outer and inner wall parts(12a,12b) and a space part(22) for containing the total loss measuring device. The second container is installed in the first container. The airtightness of the second container is kept by a second container plunger(26). A magnet for applying an external magnetic field to the superconductor is installed at the outer wall of the second container.
