PURPOSE:To obtain a molded article of a polyether sulfone resin having improved gas-barrier property, without deteriorating the characteristics of the original PES resin, in high efficiency, at a low cost, by melting and forming the resin, and subjecting the molded article to glow discharge treatment with a specific fluorinated gas in vacuum. CONSTITUTION:A molded article produced by the melt molding of a polyether sulfone resin is subjected to the glow discharge treatment with a gaseous compound of formula CiHjFkCle(2i+2=j+k+e, i>=1, j>=0, k>=1, e>=0) in a vacuum of 0.01-10Torr. The molded article is a film or sheet produced by extrusion molding technique. |
