PURPOSE:To provide an optical information recording medium capable of reproduction of record using a long wavelength light such a semiconductor laser light and having superior preservability and high record density but causing scarecely deterioration of reproducing characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer 2 contg. a compd. expressed by the general formula (wherein R1 is H, halogen, OH, COOH, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl, acyl, acyloxy, alkoxy, or alkenyl; R2 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl; X is an acid anion; l is 1 or 2) is provided ona substrate 1. Further the recording layer may be a two layered constitution combining a light reflecting layer and a light absorbing layer in an optional order. The recording layer is formed by a usual method such as vapor deposition, sputtering, CVD, or coating of soln., etc. |
