摘要 PURPOSE:To enable arbitrary changing of the running direction of an automatic carriage truck for handling in a condition in which a cargo receiving table is held in a specified direction, by a method wherein 2 driven wheels, independently driven, are mounted in positions which are located opposite to each other with the rotation center line of a turn table located therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A turn table 4 is rotatably located to the lower part of the intermediate part of a car body 2 having a cargo receiving table 1, 2 driven wheels 7 and 8, plural casters, independently rotated through the working of driving device 5 and 6 located independently from each other, are mounted to the turn table 4 in positions located opposite to each other with the rotation center line of the turn table therebetween. When the running direction of an automatic carriage truck for handling is changed, after the driven wheels 7 and 8 are rotated in a reverse direction to each other to change the direction of the turn table 4 without changing the direction of the car body 3 having the cargo receiving table 1, the driven wheels 7 and 8 are rotated in the same direction to each other, and the running direction of the automatic carriage truck for handling is arbitrarily changed as the cargo receiving table 1 is held in a specified direction.
