PURPOSE:To control the rate at which a toner falls from a storage tank to a developer agitating tank in a large range by the constitution consisting of extending a net body allowing the passage of the toner therethrough to a pair of parallel frame bodies and moving parallel the frame members relatively in opposite directions to attach and detach the frames to and from each other. CONSTITUTION:The steel wire net 13 is disposed in the form of shielding the rectangular-shaped toner drop port 8 of a partition wall 7 which delineates the toner storage tank 3 and the developer agitating tank 4. The net 13 is extended between the sliding frame 11 inserted into the groove 9 formed to the wall 7 and the stationary frame 12 inserted and fitted likewise into a groove 10. A grip 17 of an operating rod 16 is preliminarily set in the dark, intermediate or light position relative with a long hole 19, then the frame 11, the frame 12 and connecting plates 14, 15 move respectively relatively and the mesh size of the net 13 and the space between the members 11 and 12 change. The rate at which the toner T passes through the net 13 according to the rotation of a rotary brush 40 is consequently made max. medium and min. and the toner image formed on a photosensitive drum 1 is controlled from the dark to light tones. |
