PURPOSE:The titled dispersion useful as a liquid developing agent for electrostatic photography, coating compound, etc., controlling easily its viscosity, having no variability of product, obtained by polymerizing both monomers of (meth)acrylate and a specific terminal diene ether. CONSTITUTION:(A) A monomer (lauryl methacrylate, etc.) shown by the formula I (R is H, or CH3; X is -COOCnH2n+1, or -OCOCnH2n+1; n is 6-20) and (B) a monomer (e.g., compound shown by the formula III, etc.) shown by the formula II(R' and R'' are H, or CH3; m is 1-20) in a weight ratio of the monomer A/B of preferably = 50-99.5/0.5-50 in an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent (e.g., kerosine, etc.) in the presence of a polymerization initiator, to give the aimed dispersion. Preferably addition of silica fine powder during preparation process improves further dispersion stability.
