<p>PURPOSE:To assure safe operation in changing a direction of vehicle traveling by providing side lamps for illuminating the side surfaces of a vehicle on the left and right side surfaces or the front surface of the vehicle, and turning these side lamps on and off by means of a switch interlocked with a handle. CONSTITUTION:Side illumination lamps 12 are provided on the frontal left and right end surfaces and/or on the left and right side surfaces independently of a head lamp 11, which side lamps 12 re turned on and off by operation of a switch A mounted on a steering device B. The switch A includes an operat ing lever 3 operated by a hub 9a of a steering handle 9 or a projection piece 9d provided on a spoke 9b. A rotary plate 2 is rotated interlocked with counterclock rotation of the operating lever 3 upon rotating the handle 9 coun terclockwise, whereby a contact piece 2c formed on the lower surface of the rotary plates 2 is brought into contact with a contact point 1e of a switch body 1 to turn on the left side lamp 12. Hereby, the sides of a vehicle in a direction of changing the traveling thereof can be illuminated to facilitate the confirmation of safety.</p> |
