PURPOSE:To permit the simple and quick input of the first position of a vehicle on a map by disposing a transparent substrate having touch switches arranged into a matrix shape so as to cover the map film on the front face of a display part. CONSTITUTION:Only the road map of the map film is displayed on a CRT20 in the first state when the vehicle does not travel. The operator finds the present position of the vehicle on the map and touches said position by the finger, then the touch switch in the matrix switch part 22 provided on the front face of the map film turns on and the position thereof is stored in a display data storage circuit 12. The dot is lighted and displayed by such data. The traveling locus of the vehicle is successively displayed by the dots along the course of the road on the road map on the CRT20 when the vehicle is started. The present position on the map made on the CRT20 is thus stored if the operator touches said position by the finger in the above-mentioned manner and therefore the simple, quick and exact input is made possible. |
