PURPOSE:To obtain a method of easily manufacturing an electron gun through an effective process of mass production by taking out a spacer for setting up an interval between two assigned grids from the opening part of the side wall part of a fixed auxiliary electrode while blocking thereafter said opening part. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 57 between the third grid 13 and the fourth grid 14 is taken out from the opening part of the side wall part of an auxiliary electrode 16 like other spacers 53 and 54. Thereafter, said opening part is blocked with a metal piece 59. In this way, an electron gun can be manufactured extremely easily thus obtaining the manufacturing method effective in mass production. |
