PURPOSE:To provide a recording material for use on an overhead projector or the like, having excellent ink absorptivity and light-transmitting property and free of greasiness on the surface of an ink-receiving layer, comprising a light- transmitting base and an ink-receiving layer provided thereon, with a powder adhered to the surface of the ink-receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid comprising polyvinyl pyrrolidone, benzylidenesorbitol and dimethylformamide or the like is applied to the surface of the light- transmitting base, e.g., a polyethylene terephthalate film, followed by drying to provide the ink-receiving layer. Then, the surface of the ink-receiving layer is beaten with a cotton bag filled with a powder such as a talc powder to adhere the talc powder to the surface, thereby obtaining the objective recording material which can be used in utilizing the light transmitted through a recorded image. |
