FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: prior to and 3-7 days after against antihypotensive therapy, average BP is calculated by formula: diastolic BP + 1/3 (systolic BP - diastolic BP), average diuresis rate (D) is estimated in ml/hour within 4-6 hours. Then prolonged theophyllines are introduced in dose 3 mg/kg, and two hours after average BP is repeatedly measured, while average diuresis rate is estimated within 4-6 hours. Relative average AD (rel. av. BP) is calculated by formula: rel. av. BP - (average BP theo / average BP initial) x 100 %. Relative average diuresis rate is given by: rel. av. D = (average D theo / average D initial) x 100%. Initial pressure diuresis factor (PDF) is provided by: PDF = rel. av. D / rel. av. BP. It is followed with calculation of pressure diuresis factor variation by formula: DeltaPDF = PDFther - DPFinit and negative values DeltaPFD testify to inadequacy antihypertension therapy as decrease in kidneys BP-regulating physiological reaction to given type and dosage of hypotension therapy, while positive values DeltaPDF testify to adequacy antihypertension therapy as safe kidneys physiological BP regulation. ^ EFFECT: extended variety of estimation means for arterial hypertension therapy adequacy. ^ 2 tbl |
