PURPOSE:To eliminate a waste of the operation of the computer of the blast furnace computation system by determining previously data to be gathered corresponding to a process state by using a mask pattern and a check pattern and gathering the data. CONSTITUTION:A computer 2 refers to a data file 3 by using the mask pattern and check pattern which are supplied through a process I/O1 and corresponds to the process state. Then, the computer determine data which needs to be gathered on gathering condition among data, etc., to be gathered on the basis of the determined and specified gathering numbers of a gathering group. The data from a blast furnace are gathered on the basis of said data and stored in the data file, and only the data which needs to be gathered are gathered, thereby eliminating a waste of the operation of the computer.
