<p>PURPOSE:To completely eliminate the possibility of a tape along the front face of a tape cassetted being loosened even when the loading and ejection of the tape cassette are repeated frequenctly, by making an arrangement that the braking of a tape reel is not released when the tape cassette is loaded only. CONSTITUTION:When a device 1 is in the stopping mode, a pin 51 is located on a position C1 and, when a tape cassette 2 is loaded, the pin 51 simply enters the opening 44a of a block body 44 through the opening 62 at the bottom of a cassette box body 40. At the moment when the tape cassette 2 is loaded, a reel braking mechanism 41 is not actuated and held in the original state and both tape reels 3 and 4 are set to the braked condition. Therefore, the tape reels 3 and 4 do not rotate and are stopped at the original stopping position, even when the shock resulting from the fitting of the tape reels 3 and 4 in reel disks 5 and 6 is given to the tape reels 3 and 4, and the tape reels 3 and 4 move in the radial directions because of the shock.</p> |
