PURPOSE:To always prevent the rotation of reels when they are not used, by providing a guide rib for guiding brake piece provided with a tapered section in a lower half case, in which a brake piece which can be operated for releasing the brake from the outside is housed and, at the same time, a parallel groove, in which the guide rib can be put, to the brake piece as a guide groove. CONSTITUTION:A guide rib 3f and guide wall 3h are tapered and the guide groove 4d of a brake piece 4 is a parallel groove which matches the dimension of the guide rib 3f. When the inclined surface 4c of the main body 4a of the brake releasing section of the brake piece 4 is pushed by an external brake releasing pin 8, the main body 4a moves in the brake releasing direction shown by the arrow 13 along the brake guiding rib 7a of an upper half case 7 and the guide rib 3f of the lower half case 3. Also brakes 5a and 5b at both wings of the main body 4a rotate around hinge sections 5c and 5d under the guidance of guide ribs 3b and 3c and the engagement between the brakes 5a and 5b and the engaging grooves 1a and 2a of reels 1 and 2 is released, and thus, the brake is released.
