PURPOSE:To prevent mistaken telephone calls by connecting an audio response device to an originating subscriber by a central controller to allow the originating subscriber to confirm the number of a terminating subscriber when the number of the terminating subscriber transmitted from the originating subscriber in accordance with a dial operation and switching the connection of the originating subscriber to connect him to a service trunk. CONSTITUTION:When an originating subscriber SUBA dials the telephone number of a terminating subscriber SUBB, an originating register trunk 1 receives dial pulses of the telephone number of the terminating subscriber SUBB through the route passing a network NW, a network terminals N1N2 from the originating subscriber SUBA to the originating register trunk 1 and reports counting and reception of them to the central controller. Then, when the central controller detects the call to the terminating subscriber SUBB, the central controller disconnects the originating register trunk 1, which is connected to the originating subscriber SUBA till then, and connects an audio response device 2 to the originating subscriber SUBA for the purpose of allowing the originating subscriber SUBA to hear the telephone number of the terminating subscriber SUBB. |
