<p>PURPOSE:To denitrify economically by repeating alternately a removing method wherein organic carbon sources are not injected and a method wherein a part of nitrated water and waste water are denitrified in one denitrification vessel and the remainder is denitrified in the other denitrification vessel. CONSTITUTION:The waste water 1 is introduced into a denitrification vessel B along with the circulating water 2, and the NOX in the circulating water 2 is denitrified with the BOD components in the waste water 1. The waste water is then introduced into a nitration vessel C. The NH3 in the liquid is nitrated into NOX, and the remaining BOD is oxidized and decomposed. The remaining nitrated water is denitrified in the denitrification vessel A with the internal respiration of the denitrifying bacteria, and then discharged. Consequently, the treatment and disposal of the excess denitrifying bacteria are made possible, and the supply of a reducing agent from the outside is not needed. Accordingly, the treatment is made economical.</p> |
