PURPOSE:To shorten the time of making plates by moving a manuscript presser mechanism and a flash portion toward the moving direction of a manuscript. CONSTITUTION:A base paper 12 and a manuscript 13 are sent to below a galss plate 18, and when the tip of the manuscript 13 reaches the left end of the plate 18, the plate 18 is pressed by a presser 30. A flash portion 17, the plate 18, and the presser 30 are moved to the left at the same speeds as the feeding speeds of the manuscript 13 and the base paper 12 until movers 21a and 21b come into contact with stoppers 32a and 32b. Durting the moving period, a flash lamp provided in the flash portion 17 is lit, the paper 12 and the manuscript 13 are exposed to the light, and holes corresponding to the letters, etc., of the manuscript 13 are formed in the paper 12. Since the paper 12 and the manuscript 13 are always exposed to the light while being moved without stoppage, the time required for making plates for porous printing can be shortened. |
