PURPOSE:To form the raw material for plates to a cylindrical member in one stage of work by specifying the position of the contacting faces of both forms and the shape of core in the title equipment having a pair of forms and the cores fitted to the semi- circular recessed parts thereof. CONSTITUTION:The contact faces 25, 26 of a pair of forms 20, 21 with semi-circular recessed hollow parts 22, 23 are, for instance, slid downward from the plane A passing through the shaft core O of the circular recessed hollow part formed by both forms and intersecting at right angles with the moving direction of both forms. The opening edge part which is to the face 25 of the recessed hollow part 22 is therefore made a projected part completely projecting to the inside rather than the case of semi-circle. The sectional shape of a core 24 is further made in oval shape with the moving direction of the forms 20, 21 as a longitudinal axis and a recessed part 24a is formed at both sides thereof. The strip blank material is fed between the form 20 and core 24 and brought into contact with a stopper, then, the form 20 is descended and it is cut to the prescribed length and bent and formed to a cylindrical blank material 28. At this moment the free ends of the blank material 28 are approached each other at the projecting part 27. The form 21 is then ascended and the faces 25, 26 are connected by pressure mutually and the cylindrical member is thus obtd. |
