PURPOSE:To provide simplification of press constitution, etc. by providing the 1st electric motor for driving one of plural ball screws and providing the 2nd electric motor for transmitting the lower speed and higher torque than the speed and torque of said motor to the other ball screw. CONSTITUTION:Each of the plural ball screws 31 consists of a nut 30 coupled to the bottom end of a moving table 4 and a screw bar 29 screwed thereto. The 1st motor 26 provided to a base 1 drives the one screw bar 29 via the 1st gear system at a high speed and low torque. The table 4 is therefore moved upward together with the nut 30 screwed thereto. The other nut 30 having the lower frictional torque is moved upward as well in this stage. A pressure operation is immediately started from the present position when the 2nd motor 35 for pressure is driven via the 2nd gear system. The need for intricate cylinders is eliminated by the above-mentioned method and therefore the mechanism is simplified and the quick pressure is made possible. |
