PURPOSE:To remove simultaneously coloring components, COD components and phosphorus components by bringing the waste water contg. coloring components, COD components, phosphorus components, etc. into contact with the dust generated in a process wherein coal, etc. is blown into a molten iron bath to gasify the coal. CONSTITUTION:The waste water contg. coloring components, COD components, phosphorus components, etc. is brought into contact with the dust generated in a process wherein solid carbonaceous substances such as coal, steam, and oxygen are blown into a molten iron bath to gasify the solid carbonaceous substance. Consequently, the coloring components, COD components, and phosphorus components can be simultaneously removed, and the cost is also remarkably reduced.
