PURPOSE:To decrease the wrong decision rate of object inspection by providing a density histogram measuring means for a gradational image, a means which decides an overlap of objects with a function for evaluating an overlap from a degree of dispersion, and a means which separates overlapping fluoroscopic images on the basis of a determined threshold value. CONSTITUTION:An object 2 of inspection is irradiated with X rays from an X- ray generating device 1 for fluoroscopy, and its fluoroscopic image data is detected by an X-ray detector 3 and converted by an A/D converter 4 into a discrete electric signal, which is inputted to an image memory 6. Then, a density histogram is calculated as to the fluoroscopic image inputted to the memory 6 by using an image processing part 7. Then, the dispersion V of the density histogram is calculated. This dispersion V is compared with the predetermined threshold value V0 and it is decided that there is no overlap when V<V0 or an overlap when V>=V0. Then, the overlap density image is separated into a part above the threshold value and a part below the threshold value. Then, those two images are outputted and displayed on a display part. |
