PURPOSE:To interpolate scanning lines dropped out by interlaced scanning to raise the resolving power of a display device by providing a memory circuit, where a digital signal obtained from an A/D converting circuit is held for a certain period, and a D/A converting circuit which converts the digital signal outputted from this memory circuit to an analog signal. CONSTITUTION:Three primay color signals converted to digital signals are stored temporarily in memory circuits 607, 608, and 609 respectively. Three primary color signals stored in memory circuits are transferred to D/A converting circuits 610, 611, and 612 at proper timings and are converted to analog signals. Three primary color signals converted to analog signals are circulated in every horizontal scanning period by a 3X3 matrix circuit 613 and are transmitted to succeeding stages. Signals having the same phases as signals obtained by inverting three primary color signals in inverting circuits 614, 615, and 616 are generated and become AC inverted signals in 2-1 multiplex circuits 617, 618, and 619 and are outputted to video signal output terminals 620, 621, and 622.
