PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of data transfer between SVP and a display device by transferring information indicating internal states of a CPU, storage device, and input/output processor from the SVP to the display device, and converting it to desired display format for displaying by the run of a program stored in the display device. CONSTITUTION:Information indicating internal states of the CPU1, storage device MMU2, and input/output processor IOP3 is fetched by the SVP4 under a command from the keyboard 13 of the display device PCU8 by the run of the program of the service processing storage device SMM5 of the SVP4, and sent to the display device PCU8 through a communication circuit interface SCC6 and a communication circuit 7. Data is stored in the dedicated storage PMM9 of the PCU8 and converted to desired display format through a file storage 11 by the internal program, and the converted data is displayed on a CRT display 12. |
