PURPOSE:To permit high-speed printing of good quality to be performed by a method in which the area of opening is made smaller by forming the needle holes for every needle in such a way as to equalize the amount of ink to be held by the needle. CONSTITUTION:Since a needle hole 16 to be inserted with a needle 7 is formed for every needle 7, the area of the opening becomes smaller. For this reason, the evaporation of ink is lessened, the rise of the concentration of ink 11 is reduced, the holding force of ink by the needle hole 16 is increased, and the leakage of ink is prevented. Since ink 11 is held on the tip of the needle 7 and the ink film 17 is formed for every needle 7, the amount of ink 11 to be held on the needle 7 is wholly equalized for upper and lower portions. Also, since the sizes of dots are equalized, printing of good quality can be made. In addition, since the supply speed of ink 11 is fast due to the small area of the opening of the needle hole 16, high-speed printing can be attained. |
