PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of noise and vibration when dot wires are impacted without the needs for increasing size and weight by interposing a vibration insulator made of an elastic material between heat-radiating fins formed on the body of a printer head. CONSTITUTION:A vibration insulator 10 made of an elastic material (e.g., rubbers) is provided between heat-radiating fins 4 by biasing the positions at 180 deg. in the space between the same fins and also at 90 deg. in the space between the adjacent fins. The insulator 10 is integrated with the periphery of the body 2 and the fins 4 by bonding, welding, or other means. Even when the dot wires are impacted with high speeds, the majority of noise and vibration is absorbed and eased by the insulator 10 before transmitted to the outside to prevent the bad effects of the noise and vibration. Since the vibration insulators 10 are located dispersedly in the spaces between the fins, the exposed areas of the body 2 and the fins 4 can be sufficiently secured to eliminate the lowering of the cooling effects. |
