<p>A solid wire for carbon dioxide gas-shielded arc welding is provided to obtain welded metal having superior strength and tensile force and reduce an amount of created spatters. A solid wire contains 0.020 weight% to 0.100 weight% of C, 0.65 weight% 1.10 weight% of Si, 1.40 weight% 1.74 weight% of Mn, 0.005 weight% 0.018 weight% of P, 0.007 weight% 0.020 weight% of S, 0.11 weight% 0.18 weight% of Ti, 0.0015 weight% 0.0073 weight% of B, 0.0600 weight% 0.1990 weight% of C+15xB, 0.08 weight% or less of Mo, 0.0100 weight% or less of O, 0.45 weight% or less of Cu, and Fe. The solid wire contains 0.01 weight% of Mo. The solid wire includes 0.08 weight% or less of Nb, 0.08 weight% or less of V, 0.08 weight% or less of Al, 0.50 weight% or less of Cr, and 0.50 weight% or less of Ni. A steel pipe(2) is horizontally disposed. A diaphragm (1) is vertically disposed at a front end of the steel pipe. A support(3) having a ring shape is interposed between the diaphragm and the steel pipe.</p> |
