PURPOSE:To perform the bending-strength test of fine ceramics in operator's own room so that a machine can be moved, by attaching an upper supporting tool for bending test to the lower surface of an upper board, providing a ram, which is lifted and lowered in a cylinder, and providing a lower supporting tool for bending test and the like on the upper surface of the ram. CONSTITUTION:A test piece is mounted on a lower supporting tool 33 for bending test, and a vertical rotary shaft 35 is rotated in the forward direction. Then a ram 31 is lifted. When the test piece is lightly contacted with an upper supporting tool 17 for bending test, a shift lever 55 is depressed. Then an external gear 51 for a clutch is contacted with an internal gear 45 for the clutch. When a handle 52 is slightly rotated in the reverse direction, the external gear 51 is aligned and engaged with the inner gear 45 and the clutch is engaged. When the motor of a speed reducting device 46 is started, the ram 31 is lifted at a low speed, and the test piece is compresses at the low speed. When the handle 52 is rotated in the reverse direction, the ram 31 is lowered, and the test of the bending-strength is completed. |
