PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction of a central processor at the time of substituting an instruction by adding newly an execution start means of a microprogram of the central processor by a service processor. CONSTITUTION:When a central processor 2 requests a substitution of an instruction to a service processor 1, an instruction substitution requesting signal is sent onto a signal line 106 by setting the second flip-flop (F/F) 11 by a signal of a signal line 104, and also a stop request is outputted onto a signal line 107. Even if a microprogram start factor exists in the course of processing and substituting an instruction, a microprogram is not started since the signal line 107 is fixed to ''1''. When the substitution processing is ended, an instruction substitution end informing signal is sent out onto a signal line 103, and the second F/F 11 is reset, therefore, the signal on the signal line 106 becomes ''0''.
