PURPOSE:To make reliability in ignition improvable, by driving an intermittent device on the basis of an ignition signal, while feeding high voltage to a spark plug and thereby feeding the spark plug with ignition energy from an auxiliary power source via a selection device. CONSTITUTION:A shift register SR1 is rest by a cylinder discriminating signal S8, making it output each pulse signal from monostable multivibrators MM3- MM6 in order at every ignition timing signal S, and these signals turn to ignition signals S13 and S14 via a logical circuit, whereby high voltage is fed to each of ignition signals 22, 23, 27 and 28 under way of ignition timing from ignition coils 21 and 26 via a driving device 32 and an intermittent device 33. And, on the basis of these ignition signals S13 and S14, a selection device 36 feeds ignition energy to the spark plug under way of ignition timing from an auxiliary power source 25. Thus, the promotion of distributorless takes place without using a semiconductor element between the secondary winding and the spark plug and, what is more, there is no radio interference as well as ignition performance is improved. |
