In order to produce an assembly forming a distribution box, copper plates 12 are made up in which parallel slots, interrupted by bridges 11 which preserve the unity of the plate, are punched out. Each copper plate 12 is arranged on an insulating plate 13, the bridges 11 are concealed and a plurality of the subassemblies thus obtained are superposed, taking care that the strips defined by the now continuous slots are sometimes in one direction and sometimes in the other (crossing at 90 DEG ). Pins, which traverse the strips, are then pushed into the stack, thereby ensuring the desired electrical connections, taking into account that at the place where one strip is not to be electrically connected to the pin in question a hole of diameter greater than that of the pin is punched out in the strip. Printed circuits may be arranged on one or other of the faces of the stack, the pins providing the desired connections. The entire assembly can be coated with an insulating material. <IMAGE>
