The invention relates to a fixing end piece for a tube comprising an end piece body 2 comprising at least two tabs 8 each having an external surface 10 and an internal surface 14, each of the external surfaces being suitable to be fitted to the internal wall 32 of a tube 30, the internal surfaces 14 delimiting a space 16 between them, and an expansion element 20 suitable to be force-fitted into the space 16 delimited by the tabs 8 giving rise to their spreading, and comprising a stop surface 28, 40a provided so as to bear on a corresponding stop surface 36, 38 of the tube 30, a fitting-in effort exerted on the end piece body 2 causing the stop surface of the expansion element 28, 40a to come into contact with that of the tube 36, 38, then the force fitting of the expansion element 20 in the end piece body 2.
